Speaker Bio: Pam Chin

I love to travel with fish friends to see cichlids in their native waters.  I am certainly proof that you do not have to be a diver or a photographer to enjoy chasing cichlids.  Over the years I have become a better swimmer (ha ha!) and with the help of a GoPro I have lots of great video.  It is really fun and such a joy to see fish in the wild that you have kept in your own aquarium(s).  There is no doubt that being able to observe fish in their natural habitat has made me a better fish keeper.

Along with my husband Gary, we are currently maintaining over 150 aquariums in our fish house filled with cichlids from Lake Tanganyika, Lake Malawi and Central America. I am a #luckycichlidgirl !
