MAS Auction

The next MAS auction starts Wednesday, November 13, and runs through the following Wednesday, November 20. Sellers can list sales items by 8 am on November 13 and buyers can bid beginning 10 am. Items can be listed for sale up to 24 hours before the end of the auction.

Buyers will receive invoices shortly after the auction ends. Payments made after 10 PM Thursday will be subject to a $10 penalty. Transactions which are not paid in full by 10 PM Friday will be cancelled.

Getting Started

If this is your first auction, please Sign-in, set up your password, enter your email account and phone number as a minimum. Then select the auction (Minnesota Aquarium Society) of interest. Otherwise, just Sign-in and your information will load. Your email account should match your PayPal account for proper payment and remittances.

If you’re a buyer, you can View lots. If you’re a seller, you can Add a lot. Or you can do both.

What Happens Then?

When the auction ends, sellers will receive a formatted PDF to print labels for their items and a report of their total sales. Please use this format to ensure the correct items go to the correct buyers. Buyers will receive a PayPal invoice for their purchases. MAS can only accept payments through PayPal.

Pick up will be on Saturday, November 23, at the Redemption Lutheran Church as usual. Sellers can drop off their items between 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Buyers can pick up their items beginning 2:00pm until 3:00pm. This is running concurrently with the Plant Extravaganza.

Summary

Minnesota Aquarium Society auctions are open to members only. If you’re not a member and wish to participate, we will add a $15 membership fee to your final invoice. If you do not wish to join our club, please do not participate in this auction.

By participating in the Minnesota Aquarium Society (MAS) auction, you agree that MAS' role is limited to facilitating a financial transaction between Seller and Buyer.  If a Buyer is not satisfied with any of the items acquired during the auction, the Seller's contact information is listed on the item label to enable direct discussion between the two parties.   MAS is unable to refund monies once the transaction has been completed.

An actual photograph of the hard goods is required when such items are posted for sale.  A stock picture from the Internet is not acceptable.  Sellers are also encouraged to post an actual photograph of fish, plants, shrimp and snails for sale.  While there is no requirement to do so for livestock, Buyers are unlikely to make high bids without viewing the actual item.
